PLAYGROUNDS, PARKS & PICNIC AREAS
South Riding has many playgrounds and park areas of various size and scope, and almost four miles of bike and pedestrian trails.
Safety is of primary concern to South Riding Proprietary. All persons using the play equipment and related areas do so at their own risk; agrees to hold South Riding Proprietary, its Board of Directors, and Staff harmless of any injuries; and agrees to abide by the Playground Use Guidelines. South Riding Proprietary assumes no responsibility for any accident or injury in connection with such use or for any loss or damage to personal property.
Parks are first come first serve and visitors must clean up and return grounds to their original condition.

This park, recommended for ages 2-12, has open play space, multiple platform structures and slides, play panels, swings, boucing features and a crawl tube and is located on America Square off Riding Center Drive (near the Braddock Road entrance of Riding Center Drive). This park, recommended for ages 2-12, includes climbing rings, ropes, slides, and the community’s first zip-line. It is located at the northern most end of Dunvegan Square. Parking is located at the end of Planting Field Drive and is accessible by a walking trail located at the end of Planting Field Drive. The park is open from dawn to dusk.

This multi-sport park features a bike trail, pickleball & tennis combo courts, soccer fields, basketball and volleyball courts and is located on Donegal Drive. The park is open from dawn to dusk.

This park is a 5,600 square-foot park which accommodates skateboards, inline skates, and non-motorized scooters with concrete features including ramps, rails, stairs, stacked ledges, floating quarter pipes, and a pump bump.It is located at the Dulles South Recreation and Community Center at 24950 Riding Center Drive and is open to all county residents from dawn to dusk.
Park construction was funded by South Riding Proprietary, however, Loudoun County owns the land and provides park maintenance. Questions regarding this park may be directed to them at 571-258-3456.
The skate facility represents a collaborative effort by the Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services and the South Riding Proprietary to provide safe recreational skateboarding opportunities for community youth.
Skaters are required to wear safety equipment (helmets, knee pads, and closed toe shoes) and shirts at all times.
